Photographer’s Photos available on new La Crescenta listing

We met the photographer yesterday at our newest listing in La Crescenta.  Now, comes the task of selecting the best photos for Internet, MLS and print advertisement. Our photographer takes several photos of each room and then we decide what we feel best showcases the home's features. We go "round and round" selecting the best photo for each area

A little about the home: $610,000 - 3 & 2 in quiet La Crescenta neighborhood. And we are going to use an exterior photo, but I need help on selecting the best photo of the waterfall/fountain; I am hoping you can help:

#1 PROBLEM:  Water in fountain doesn't look appealing, appears to be green

#2 The bench is more inviting in this photo, PROBLEM: Telephone pole is unattractive and I prefer not to"photoshop"; doesn't seem "ethical". AND seems if I photoshop it, I would have to make one more disclosure to the buyer.

#3  The water looks inviting; PROBLEM: I don't care for the neighbor's house in the photo, but at least there aren't any visible windows...

Here are a sampling of the photos their agent used for the Multiple Listing Service (MLS): I ask my clients to have the cars removed from the driveway prior to taking the photos. With two cars ...

I know home buyers want to see photos and more photos. But when I represent the seller, I am sorry but I just can't place horrible photos in the MLS. What are we looking at here? A Martian’s clothes line and telephone poles? ...

I was searching the MLS this afternoon - looking for a home for my client in Eagle Rock when I came across this photo. Someone thought this would be a good marketing tool for their client's home?!? Sure, they had another 5 or so other photos (all mediocre - bad lighting, bad angles) but then came this photo. What were they thinking??? To top it off, the door looks more like an office door, than a front door. Needless to say, this is not one of the homes I will show my client. This ...
