Window boxes are great whether they have flowers or my favorite herbs a real crowd pleaser. I like the fresh herbs on the back porch for easy access when cooking nothing smells better than fresh basil growing. I have a dog who loves to roll in the basil leaves makes him smell good to.

It's amazing every house that ever had a flower box the first impression when entering the home was a smile and real charm it added to the property.

Many people use the box to not only add flowers but to decorate during a holiday. Right now in our area they are all filled with easter eggs and bunnies and pretty flowers. It's nice to see as you drive down the street.

I use to have them on a house years ago. Advice is drainage holes in the bottom and to use that gel stuff and perlite to hold the moisture so you don't have to water them as much.
