Clutter Buster

One Year to an Organized Life I read the first several chapters and this is what I have learned:

I am inefficient and often create extra work for myself What can I do to change this?  What I can do today, is to try to organize my marketing and errands which are out of hand.  I primarily shop at 3 different markets, and I should be able to reduce my grocery shopping to no more than 3 trips a week.

Trader Joes (primarily, produce, milk products & certain products I prefer)
Vons (primarily staples such as: cat food, paper products, bottled water)
Cordons Market (primarily meat and poultry)

I basically buy the same items each time I visit Trader Joes. So I have made a customized shopping list, with room to note an additional item when needed. I can cut and photocopy the lists and each time I shop I should remember the “staples”. If this works, I am going to make a customized list for each market – wish me luck!

I should also group my errands (duh!) but I don’t.  What  I would like to find is a “clip” or something that will fit on my car’s visor.  I could clip dry-cleaning and/or shoe repair tickets, currently when I tuck them under the visor, when I open the visor to keep the sun out of my eyes, the receipts fall in my lap.  I don’t want a visor organizer, just a small clip.  I called the container store, I googled and couldn’t find one. Any ideas?  I am so tired of throwing these tickets in my purse or wallet or ???.  I would love one consistent place to keep them and then every time I got in the car, I would remember I have a pick up and I could schedule errands accordingly.
