Does your home have good Karma?
Have you noticed that some homes seem to be continuously for sale – not necessarily because they don’t sell, but because the owners don’t stay. As a Realtor I have noticed that some homes consistently “turn around”. It seems that certain homes sell every several years, while others have owners that live in them for decades.
Years ago, I sold a home which offered the distinction of having the last three owners sell due to divorce. I am superstitious and was apprehensive about this family (my clients) moving into the home. They have filled this home with love and happiness and a decade later she and her husband have changed this home’s bad marriage karma.
I don’t know if bad house karma has anything to do with Feng Shui but certain homes seem to nurture its occupants while others seem to “destroy” them. We purchased our 1941 home in the early 90’s and have no plans to move. There were two previous owners, three owners in 60 years- that’s good house karma.

An interesting observation about Americans and their travel. I typically wake early, while in Maui, I have been waking prior to 5:30 AM (I am on LA time) and going to the Business Center for an hour of work before hitting the treadmill (and then the beach). Each morning, there are a handful of others in the business center at this early hour. I have a girlfriend who lives in Rome and she keeps reminding me that Americans take fewer vacations than nearly any other group. Apparently even when on vacation, many of us ...
