Free Local Museum Entry

One great aspect of living in Los Angeles, (other than our wonderful weather) is that there is so much to do.  
Find free culture at these museums:

Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens 
The library’s 120 acres of botanical gardens are divided into multiple thematic areas. The art collections are specialized in character, focusing on 18th century British and French art, and on American art ranging from the early 18th to the early 20th century.  The Huntington is world-renowned as home to Gainsborough’s The Blue Boy and Lawrence’s Pinkie.
Admission is free on the first Thursday of the month with advance tickets which can be requested by calling 800-838-3006.


Los Angeles County Arboretum The Arboretum is a 127- acre botanical garden and historical site.
Admission is free on the third Tuesday of the month (No tram on this day).

Natural History Museum 
As the largest natural and historical museum in the Western United States and an active research center, NHM safeguards more than 35 million spectacular, diverse specimens and artifacts covering 4.5 billion years of history, including dinosaurs and mammal dioramas.
Admission is free on the first Tuesday of the month.

Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits 
Visitors can learn about Los Angeles as it was between 10,000 and 40,000 years ago, during the last Ice Age, when animals such as saber-toothed cats and mammoths roamed the Los Angeles Basin.
Admission is free on the first Tuesday of the month.
