Gift Wrapping Room – Necessity or Over Indulgence?


Years ago, I had read that Candy Spelling had a gift wrapping room; at the time I thought it was simply over indulgence on her part.  In the past decade I have seen a handful of gift wrapping rooms in more expensive and generally newer homes.  They can be combined with a craft room, but if just used as a gift wrap center, they don’t need to be too large.  

As Christmas approaches and there are more and more gifts to be wrapped, I envy those with gift wrapping rooms.  Year round there has always been a plethora of children’ parties and last minute gifts to be wrapped.  Yes, I did purchase some containers in an attempt to organize the mess, and I have baskets for bows and ribbons, but my wrapping table is still the dining room table.
