Something IS always broken at my home!
Happily my parents are visiting and my dear father has been very “handy”. He has replaced all of the light bulbs (the last time George changed one, he broke it in the socket and I had to hire an electrician to repair it!). Our front door would not lock; Dad replaced the lock and we can now lock the door. We have three dogs so I haven’t been too worried about the front door… but seemed like a good time to have it repaired.
Mom has been cooking, we are so lucky! Last night she prepared four different varieties of home made pizza. We are getting spoiled!
The beehive is gone from the pool equipment and we hired a new pool company. The icemaker has recently been repaired on our (15 yr old) Sub Zero but there is some type of leak behind the crisper and every 3 weeks blocks of ice need to be chipped away, in the meantime the fruits and vegetables in the crisper freeze and rot. The appliance repair is coming out again today.
