Many of us only go Downtown for jury duty, or an occasional event at the Ahmanson. But since the construction of the Staples Center Los Angeles is being revitalized.  One of my favorite Saturday morning activities is breakfast at the Pantry followed by a visit to the Flower Mart.

We have all heard about so many of the old buildings being converted to lofts Downtown is once again a vibrant place to live, work and play.  The Grand Avenue Project will transform the civic and cultural districts of downtown Los Angeles into a vibrant new regional center which will showcase entertainment venues, restaurants, and retail mixed with a hotel and up to 2600 new housing units.
